The 2023 Hack-Attacks on MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment gave the casino industry new meaning to the word. We are in extremely dangerous times with this exponentially expanding Mega-Threat. Are you doing all you can to protect your casino?

Recent cyberattacks on industry giants like MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment have sent shockwaves through the casino world. These incidents underline that, in today’s digital age, the threats we face are not just at the gaming tables, but in the vast realm of the digital playing field.

But what does this really mean for us? Corporations have long battled cyber threats, but lately, the gaming industry seems to be a growing target. Attacks on MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment weren’t just news headlines – they resulted in the loss of vast amounts of money and put sensitive customer information at risk. Imagine, not just a breach of personal data, but a complete shutdown of IT systems. So, how do we guard our house against these digital intruders? What new threats lurk around the corner that we might not even be aware of? And, importantly, how can we team up with law enforcement to ensure a safer future for our industry?

Join us as we delve into the world of cybersecurity, tailored for the casino industry. We’ll demystify terms like “social engineering,” “pen testing,” “phishing,” “vishing,” and introduce the concept of “layered security.” and awareness. Together, we’ll explore the measures we can take to protect our assets and ensure that the only betting we do is at the games.
